Zucchini Fries.

-via
We got cable. Then, the world stopped for a second. I haven't had cable for a little over three years, until last Friday. I could explain but I don't want to ruin a good thing. Any who, cable has reintroduced the Food Network into our lives and on one particular show they made french fries. Yummy, garlic butter french fries. Well, we don't have any potatoes in the house, but we did have some on-the-verge of dying zucchinis, so from this stemmed a brilliant idea. Zucchini Fries. I know I'm not the first to think of this, thank goodness, because I'm a recipe kinda gal, so I took this recipe and used my vintage french fry cutter and made the above. Now, those are not my fries, but mine looked identical. Add a little dipping ranch, and we have a new husband approved, healthy side. Amen.

Tomato Babies.

These little babies are the newest members of the Wells clan. We have three tomato plants, one of which is already producing 'maters. These tomatoes have already sufficiently survived our roller coaster spring weather.

Racing Experience.

Last year for Christmas, Jason and I gifted Dad and Chris a racing experience, so last Saturday we woke up EARLY and headed to Millington to the Memphis Motorsports Park. Jason had drill so he missed out on all the fun. Dad actually drove a race car, while Chris did a ride along with Jeffrey Earnhardt who is Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s cousin, so cool. The girls, plus Jake got to sit on the pit lane wall and watch all the race cars go around. We even got to stand on the outside wall as we were leaving, which may have been the coolest part. It was so loud, you could feel it. The kids loved it so much, that now Chris and Susan are considering going to a real race. I think Jason and I would definitely need to accompany them.

Easter 2012.

Here are few pictures from the Saturday before Easter. I ventured out with my sister's family to our church's first annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. They're not sure exactly how many people came out, but it's estimated that it was around +2000. After the egg hunt, we went to a playground to burn off some of the kiddo's sugar intake. You can't tell in these pictures but poor Jake got a terrible sun burn on his face. Poor little guy.

Happy Memories.

I was updating some photos today, and ran across this. It is one of my favorites from our wedding day. This picture describes exactly the feel we wanted and it couldn't have been more perfect. It's amazing how happy memories can turn a day upside down.

Day One.

I've tried this little thing called blogging once before, and was very unsuccessful. My previous blog had no direction, and very little attention, so let my set some expectations for this new blog. It is currently a work-in-progress, and for now, I'll use it simply as a journal type application, so if you happen to stumble upon my new little blog, welcome!
